Hoe noodzakelijk is virusbescherming nog?

"Antivirussoftware is dood." Een opvallende quote, omdat deze uitspraak gedaan werd door Brian Dye, CEO van Symantec, het bedrijf achter Nortons antivirussoftware. Het roept de vraag op of antivirussoftware nog wel nodig is, nu we naast onze pc's en laptops ook met smartphones en tablets rondlopen.
